Unlike its contemporaries in the world of awards ceremonies, BAFTA/LA's Britannia
Awards stand out as being a bit special. Rather than the traditional "best
of year" awards, the Britannia Awards celebrate the career longevity
and excellence of some of our best loved celebrities in awards that honour
their entire career and body of work. This year's recipients are Danzel Washington,
Martin Campbell, Richard Curtis, Kate Winslet and Robert Shaye and Michael
Lynne. The show is full of wonderful red carpet glamour, celebrity interviews
and backstage and part happenings as well as the awards ceremony itself.
