Since 1950, there have been 32 nuclear weapon accidents, the ‘Broken Arrows’, an unexpected event that results in the accidental launching, firing, detonating, theft or loss of the weapon.

Of the 32 broken arrows, six have been lost and never recovered. Documents now declassified reveal the history and secrecy surrounding these Broken Arrows. What does this mean to our threatened environment?
